In November 2013 the Health Care District of Palm Beach County marked 25 years of providing health care services to the residents of Palm Beach County. Since then, the Health Care District has filled critical gaps in the existing health care system in Palm Beach County.

As a result, residents benefit from a strong health care safety net - on the ground, in the air, around the clock.

life-saving-trauma-small Life-saving trauma care for the more than 3,000 people a year who suffer life-threatening traumatic injuries. quality-healthcare-small Quality health care at Lakeside Medical Center, the only acute-care hospital in rural western Palm Beach County.
school-nurses-small School Nurses who care for more than 174,000 students in 167 public schools in Palm Beach County. skilled-nursing-small Skilled nursing and rehabilitation for residents who require 24-hour inpatient care as a result of debilitating illness or traumatic injury.
health-coverage-small Health coverage for residents who cannot afford private health insurance and do not qualify for government health programs. primary-care-small Primary care services for adults and children at four clinics located in Delray Beach, Lantana, West Palm Beach, and Belle Glade
