The Health Care District of Palm Beach County is committed to achieving community immunity. To date, we have provided more than 200,000 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine. As we transition to more targeted mobile outreach, the Health Care District is no longer scheduling vaccination appointments at the mass vaccination sites. We encourage all eligible Floridians to get vaccinated against COVID-19 by reaching out to their primary care providers or one of the many pharmacies throughout Palm Beach County, including Publix, CVS, Walmart, Sam’s Club, Winn Dixie, and Walgreens. Per state guidelines, effective April 5th, all Floridians are eligible to receive any COVID-19 vaccine as authorized by the Food and Drug Administration. This includes individuals 12 years of age and older (those ages 12 to 17 can only receive the Pfizer brand vaccine).
The Health Care District's mobile clinics are not providing additional COVID-19 doses to full-vaccinated individuals at this time and are referring patients to their personal providers to make a clinical decision about the appropriateness of an additional COVID-19 dose per Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines. The Health Care District will make adjustments in accordance with the CDC should the CDC change its guidelines.
If you need a primary care provider, we welcome you and your family to make the Health Care District’s C. L. Brumback Primary Care Clinics your medical home. Call 561-642-1000 to schedule an appointment at a clinic near you. Your C. L. Brumback Primary Care Clinics’ provider will assess all of your health needs, including the COVID-19 vaccine if you have not already received it.
