Completed in 2009, Lakeside Medical Center is located on a 50-acre medical campus at the intersection of State Rd 80 (Hooker Highway) and State Rd 441 (Main Street) .
The hospital provides a regional health care delivery system for all Palm Beach County communities bordering Lake Okeechobee and surrounding towns, offering modern technology and all-private patient rooms in a central location.
While the hospital is equipped with modern equipment and procedures, the dedicated staff’s approach to quality patient care revolves around compassion and understanding. The medical staff at Lakeside Medical Center is trained in a healthcare delivery model that emphasizes relationship, partnership, teamwork and critical thinking in patient care delivery.
The hospital is centrally located near the three towns that make up the region: Belle Glade, Pahokee and South Bay. This location will improve access to quality health care for all western Palm Beach County communities bordering Lake Okeechobee and neighboring towns.
The campus offers ample and secure parking facilities and two Palm Tran bus stops, making the hospital accessible to the public and an integral part of the improvements to health care delivery in the area.
Our mission is to serve as the “Safety Net” for the Glades by providing high-quality, patient and family centered services in a safe, teaching environment.
Our vision is to be the healthcare "Partner of Choice" for our healthy community.
Compassion, Accountability, Excellence, Collaborative, Respect
