The C.A.R.E Award
The C.A.R.E. Award recognizes Health Care District employees who go above and beyond and make a real difference to our patients, families and colleagues every day. Whether they care for patients directly or help behind the scenes, this award celebrates employees who live out our core values of Excellence, Integrity, Leadership, Teamwork and Respect.
Who’s eligible: All Health Care District team members. Nurses can be nominated for both the DAISY and C.A.R.E. Awards.
Who can nominate: Patients, patient family members, and co-workers
The DAISY Award for Nurses
The DAISY Award is a national program that celebrates nurses for their clinical excellence and compassionate care. Created by the DAISY Foundation (Diseases Attacking the Immune System), this award honors nurses who go the extra mile for their patients and families.
Who’s eligible: All licensed nurses at the Health Care District — including RNs, APRNs and LPNs/LVNs — who show outstanding compassion and clinical skill.
Who can nominate: Patients, patient family members, and co-workers.
