Director of Nursing, C. L. Brumback Primary Care Clinics

Lisa Hogans Stands in Front of Balloons at the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta Festival

Lisa Hogans’ favorite part of taking photography is to “look at things differently” as photos tend to capture nuances that your eyes sometimes miss when taking in an experience or situation.

Lisa has always enjoyed traveling. A long-time friend with a passion for travel and a “really good camera” inspired her to begin her own journey into travel photography. The photos showcased in our First Impressions gallery capture some of Lisa’s favorite images from her trip to the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta®.

Her other favorite prior destinations are Costa Rica and Acadia National Park in Maine. She hopes to continue her travel (and photography) with upcoming adventures to Hawaii, national parks around the country and driving the full Pacific Coast Highway in California.

Originally from New Jersey, Lisa has spent the majority of her life in Florida, enjoying the sunny weather and outdoor offerings that come with the South Florida lifestyle. When not at work, Lisa spends as much time as possible with her husband and son at the beach, Peanut Island, snorkeling and swimming and entertaining at her home.

Lisa’s advice to others comes from one of her favorite quotes:

“Enjoy the little things in life because one day you`ll look back and realize they were the big things.” - Kurt Vonnegut

This quote is displayed in her home and she keeps the message at the forefront in her daily life and when creating experiences with her family and friends. Her photography helps her capture some of these “little things” that matter so much to look back on later.

Lisa joined the Health Care District 10 years ago as a registered nurse in the Lantana Clinic when the clinics launched as a new Health Care District program. She served as quality coordinator for the clinics and corporate quality coordinator before advancing to her current role as the clinics’ director of nursing.
