Jose A. Rodriguez, RPh, MBA is the Director of Pharmacy, Community Health Centers for the Health Care District of Palm Beach County. In this role, he oversees the District’s five community health center pharmacies and the 340B program and works closely with leadership to ensure a smooth prescription process for uninsured patients.
Rodriguez originally joined the Health Care District in 2004 as Director of Pharmacy Services, a position he held for seven years before being promoted to Chief Health Operations Officer, serving until 2013. He returned to the Health Care District after most recently serving as Director of Ambulatory Pharmacy Services at Memorial Healthcare System.
A dedicated and results-driven leader, Rodriguez brings extensive experience in healthcare operations and administration. His expertise spans hospital, long-term care, home infusion, and retail pharmacy. Throughout his career, he has led multidisciplinary teams to optimize medication management and clinical outcomes, implemented cost-saving initiatives while maintaining high standards of patient care, spearheaded technology integration, developed strategic plans to enhance pharmacy services, and ensured compliance with state, federal, and accreditation regulations.
