Weesam A. Khoury is the Associate Vice President of Communications and External Affairs for the Health Care District of Palm Beach County. In this role, Khoury builds and maintains key working relationships with government officials, community leaders, and stakeholders to address issues, garner support and advance the healthcare organization’s mission. She also oversees the development and execution of strategic internal and external communications strategies and leads the communications team to enhance brand awareness and engagement.

Khoury is an experienced and passionate public servant, skilled in managing crisis communications, strategic initiatives, and high-profile government affairs. Before joining the Health Care District, she served as deputy chief of staff for the State of Florida Department of Health. Khoury studied at Florida State University, earning both a Master of Science degree in Public Interest Media Communications and a Bachelor of Science degree double-majoring in International Relations and Affairs and Editing, Writing and Media.
