C. L. Brumback Primary Care Clinics Pledge to be HPV Cancer Free
Leaders and staff of the C. L. Brumback Primary Care Clinics, Federally Qualified Health Centers owned and operated by the Health Care District of Palm Beach County, attended the American Cancer Society's HPV summit in St. Petersburg, Florida on June 14, 2018. There they signed a petition to “...stand with the American Cancer Society (ACS) to create a world that is HPV cancer free” starting with cervical cancer. The goal of the ACS campaign is to increase HPV vaccination rates for preteens to at least 80% by June 2026, the 20-year anniversary of the FDA's approval of the first HPV vaccine.
