He was reappointed for a term beginning November 9, 2017 and ending September 30, 2020.

“I am honored that Governor Scott has reappointed me to serve a second term on the Health Care District Board,” said Mr. Daniels. “I look forward to continuing to work with my fellow Board members to provide access to our safety net health programs in a fiscally responsible and efficient manner.”

Mr. Daniels was appointed to the Health Care District Board by Governor Scott in May of 2013. He is also a current member of Florida’s State Board of Administration, Investment Advisory Council (IAC). Mr. Daniels received his bachelor’s degree in economics from Fordham University.

“I congratulate Commissioner Daniels on his reappointment,” said Darcy J. Banner, Esq., Secretary, and Mr. Daniels. Three are appointed by the Board of County Commissioners: Brian R. Lohmann, Vice Chair, Sean O’Bannon and Cory Neering.
