Health Care District's VP and Exec. Director of Clinic Services Shares the Importance of Access to Primary Care and Prevention

As the guest speaker at Palm Beach County's Countywide Community Revitalization Team (CCRT) meeting in West Palm Beach on July 11th, 2017, Christopher F. Irizarry, MPA, Vice President and Executive Director of Clinic Services for the Health Care District of Palm Beach County described how adults and children having enhanced access to quality medical and dental care at the C. L. Brumback Primary Care Clinics.  Mr. Irizarry mentioned that the Brumback Clinics, which are Federally Qualified Health Centers, now have two new sites in Jupiter and southwest Boca Raton. Mr. Irizarry highlighted how the Brumback Clinics serve all patients, with or without insurance, and offer a variety of services under one roof that include women's health, behavioral health and pharmacy services. 

"It's important that children complete their back-to-school check-ups over the summer and residents of all ages don't delay following up on their routine medical and dental visits," said Mr. Irizarry.  "Preventive care is critical to keeping our community healthy." 

At the public meeting Houston L. Tate, Director of Palm Beach County's Office of Community Revitalization, along with several residents, expressed their appreciation for the Health Care District's many safety net services, including the lifesaving Trauma Hawk Aeromedical Program.
