Lakeside Medical Center raises $10,000 for Komen South Florida
Lakeside Medical Center was proud to be a part of the Susan G. Komen South Florida Race for the Cure in downtown West Palm Beach on January 28.
In the weeks leading up to the race, Lakeside raised $10,000 from bake sales and raffles held at the hospital. Money raised by Lakeside employees was in honor of staff, Auxilians, and board members who are survivors of breast cancer.
On race day, members of the Lakeside Team happily presented a check for $10,000 to WPTV's Kelly Dunn and Michael Williams, who emceed the event.
