Darcy J. Davis, Chief Executive Officer

Darcy J. Davis is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Health Care District of Palm Beach County and its subsidiary operations. She joined the Health Care District in July 2011 and has served in several roles of increasing responsibility, including Chief Financial Officer/Chief Operating Officer, before her promotion to the top executive role in February 2016.

Over 30 years in the healthcare industry, Darcy has held executive-level positions at various healthcare entities, including Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at rural medical centers and a complex academic medical center.

In 2023, Darcy was appointed by Palm Beach County's Board of County Commissioners to serve as a member of the county's Criminal Justice Commission.

She also serves on the United Way of Palm Beach County’s Hunger Relief Advisory Council. She is a member of the Board of Directors for the Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches and the Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce. Darcy also served on the American Heart Association of Palm Beach County Board of Directors for nearly two years. In 2018, Governor Rick Scott appointed her to the Palm Beach State College District Board of Trustees, where she served for three years. Darcy is a 2022 graduate of the Leadership Palm Beach County Engage Program.

Darcy was named a 2024 Top 250 Power Leader by the South Florida Business Journal. Annually, for the past eight years, the South Florida Business Journal recognized Darcy as a Power Leader in Healthcare and, in 2017, one of South Florida’s Most Influential Executives. In 2022, Darcy was ranked 11th on Florida’s Top 100 Women-Led Businesses list by The Commonwealth Institute of Florida and was a finalist for the Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce’s “Woman of the Year Award”. She also received the Daughters of the American Revolution “Women in American History” award in 2022 from the Seminole DAR Chapter. In 2021 and 2019, she was honored by the Palm Beach County Medical Society as a “Hero in Medicine.”

Darcy earned her BBA in Accounting from Mercer University and her MSM in Healthcare Administration from Troy State University. She holds an inactive license as a Certified Public Accountant in Georgia and Tennessee.
