Lakeside awarded $20,000 from Komen Foundation to continue services to uninsured women and men

On August 23rd Lakeside Medical Center hosted another successful site visit by the Susan G. Komen South Florida Director of Mission Initiatives, Lisa Hartstein, her Community Outreach Coordinator and two board members.

We are pleased to have been granted $20,000, which will allow us to continue to provide mammograms, ultra-sounds, and biopsies for uninsured women and men in our communities.

After a thorough review of our administrative, fiscal, and program requirements as well as our brochures, surveys and promotional pieces, Lakeside Medical Center was approved for another year.
