Health Care District Shifts Gears with Mobile Clinic as Vaccination Interest Plummets - After crisscrossing the county to make it more convenient for people to get vaccinated against COVID-19, one of the Health Care District of Palm Beach County’s three mobile clinics will return next month to its pre-pandemic duties: providing primary care services to homeless and underserved adults. The Health Care District continues offering adults and children as young as 12 free, walk-up COVID-19 vaccinations with a second mobile clinic stationed in the Lantana Clinic parking lot at 1250 Southwinds Drive in Lantana Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Brumback Primary Care Clinics plan to relocate three of their nine brick-and-mortar clinics to more spacious and modern health centers. The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), an agency of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, awarded a grant of $1,010,224 this month to fund new medical equipment and furnishings for these sites that are located in medically underserved areas of Palm Beach County.
