Health Care District's Primary Care Clinics Recognized by the American Heart Association

The C. L. Brumback Primary Care Clinics’ Board was presented at its October 24th, 2018 public meeting with two American Heart Association Awards for the clinics’ work reducing the risk of heart disease and stroke.  The Check.Change.Control.Cholesterol™ Gold award recognizes the Clinics’ commitment to improved cholesterol management.  The Target: BP Recognition award honors the clinics for their efforts bringing patients’ blood pressure under control.

Belma Andrić, MD, MPH, the Health Care District’s Chief Medical Officer and Vice President and Executive Director of Clinical Services thanked Noelle Stewart, DO, FQHC Medical Director, for her diligence implementing the program to improve the health of adult patients across the county.
