The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) recognized the Health Care District’s C. L. Brumback Primary Care Clinics as a Health Center Quality Leader for exceeding national clinical quality benchmarks and being among the top 30% of community health centers nationwide to achieve the best overall clinical performance. HRSA awarded the Brumback Clinics a $166,000 Quality Improvement grant for initiatives related to advancing the use of health information technology, improving care quality and outcomes and delivering patient-centered care.

The announcement came during National Health Center Week, the annual celebration that highlights the critical role community health centers play in providing high-quality, affordable, primary healthcare. The Brumback Clinics’ sites throughout the county provide primary medical care, general and preventive dentistry and behavioral health services for adults and children regardless of whether they have insurance.
