Health Care District and Brumback Clinics participate in Homeless Coalition event

The Health Care District and staff with the District’s C. L. Brumback Primary Care Clinics were proud to participate in the 5th Annual Senator Philip D. Lewis Center Luncheon at the Kravis Center Cohen Pavilion on May 3.

Darcy J. Davis, Health Care District CEO, served as a host committee member for the event, which drew 350 attendees.

The Brumback Clinics are Federally Qualified Health Centers that provide medical and dental care to all adults and children, with or without insurance, at nine sites throughout the county. One of the primary care clinics serves the homeless on-site at the Lewis Center in West Palm Beach.

Photos of this partnership between the Lewis Center and the Brumback Clinics’ staff were featured in a slideshow at the event and members of the Brumback Clinics’ medical team were recognized for their efforts at the Lewis Center and through their outreach initiatives for the homeless in the community.

Since opening in July 2012, the Lewis Center has provided help to more than 28,000 men, women and children.
