Billing Information & Healthcare Prices
Medical costs often happen when you can least afford them. If you need financial assistance, the hospital will try to help you.
Patient and prospective patients have a right to request a personalized estimate from the hospital. You may request an itemized statement that will reflect your detailed charges for your hospital care.
Some doctors at Lakeside Medical Center do not work for the hospital. These doctors are in “Private Practice.” They will bill you directly. Private services are in addition to the hospital bill. Private services may be other doctors like the one who took your x-rays, the ER doctor, or the doctor who tested your kidneys, etc. The private bills must be paid to the doctor.
Different doctors have different contracts with insurance companies. Please check to make sure your private practice doctors are covered by your insurance company.
* Service bundle information found on this pricing website is a non-personalized estimate of costs that may be incurred by the patient for anticipated services and that actual costs will be based on services actually provided to the patient.

Billing Disclosures – Your Rights and Protections Against Surprise Medical Bills
Effective January 1, 2022, the No Surprises Act, which Congress passed as part of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2021, is designed to protect patients from surprise bills for emergency services at out-of-network facilities or for out-of-network providers at in-network facilities, holding them liable only for in-network cost-sharing amounts. The No Surprises Act also enables uninsured patients to receive a good faith estimate of the cost of care.
