Our Patient Advocate helps patients send mail outside the hospital. If you need help or want to buy postage, please call 348444 on a hospital phone.

We have a wide variety of gift ideas in the lobby Gift Shop. It is located at the front of the hospital. All workers in the Gift Shop are volunteers. The volunteers are members of the Lakeside Medical Center Auxiliary. All proceeds from gift shop sales go back in the community.

Most lost items are held for 7 days. After seven days, lost items are given to the Risk Manager. The Risk Manager will hold the item for 30 days. After 30 days, unclaimed items are discarded.

Soft drinks and snacks are available from vending machines. The machines are outside the cafeteria on the first floor.

Vending machines are for guests. All patients must check with their nurse before accepting any snack or outside food. Some foods may interfere with medical tests.

Flowers are delivered to patient rooms. However, flowers are not allowed in the Critical Care Unit. This protects patient health in the Critical Care Unit.

Latex balloons are not permitted in the hospital due to health and safety issues. Mylar balloons are permitted.

We have a notary public in our hospital. Please contact a staff member if you are in need of this service.
