Accidents and sudden illness may require a visit to the emergency room.
Our ER entrance is at the front of the hospital for quick and easy access. Emergencies are personal and private. There is a dedicated ambulance entrance. ER patients do not pass the main waiting area.
Once in the ER, you will see a triage professional. You will be screened. Priority is given to life-threatening emergencies. You will get the care you need. Based on the severity of your illness or injury, you may have to wait.
The hospital has 17 ER treatment areas. They have the latest technology. Our ER staff is highly qualified. We have a private ER consultation room. Your doctor may use the room to talk with you or your family about the emergency.
Diagnostic services, such as x-rays, CT scans, and laboratory services, are very close to the ER. This gives your doctors direct access to critical diagnostic services when you need it most.
We have a helipad outside of the ER. It allows Trauma Hawk, the air ambulance, to quickly transport patients in need of trauma services to the closest center.
