Andrea Steele

Andrea Steele is the Associate Vice President, Information Tech and Business Intelligence for the Health Care District of Palm Beach County. In this role she provides strategic and transformational technology leadership for the Health Care District.

In her previous role as Associate Vice President of Corporate Quality, she provided leadership and operational oversight of the Trauma Agency and implementation of quality assurance, patient safety, credentialing and performance improvement strategies.

Steele has more than 15 years of diversified experience in program and research management. She most recently served as Director of Corporate Quality at the Health Care District before her promotion.

Before joining the Health Care District, Steele was a clinical research consultant for ExecuPharm in Cambridge, Massachusetts where she was responsible for ensuring accurate drug accountability and execution and adherence to protocols for the company.

She also served as a clinical research associate at ICON plc where she identified, initiated and monitored appropriate investigational sites for clinical studies to ensure the studies were carried out according to protocols and in accordance with applicable regulations.

Steele has volunteered with the American Heart Association’s Palm Beach Heart Walk as an executive cabinet member, leading the charge for the Health Care District’s participation in 2023. She has also served as vice president of the board of directors for Harvest Co-Op Market and as president of the board of directors and a community development council member for Sisters of the Road.

Steele holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Portland State University in Portland, Oregon and a Master of Business Administration in Health Care Administration from the University of Portland. She holds an ASQ Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification.
