Rick Roche, Chief Administrative Officer


Rick Roche is the Health Care District of Palm Beach County's Chief Administrative Officer. His oversight includes Human Resources, IT, Communications, Customer Service and Eligibility for the District’s managed care plans. Rick, who is in his fifth year at the Health Care District, previously served as Hospital Administrator in addition to his Chief Administrative Officer role.  He has more than 25 years of experience in healthcare operations.

Prior to joining the Health Care District, Rick served as Vice President for Human Resources and Support Services at Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah, Ga. Prior to that, he was the Vice President for HR and Ancillary Services at University Health Care System in Augusta, Ga., where he provided executive leadership for human resources and several operations functions.

During his health care career, Rick has focused his efforts on enhancing organizational culture, customer service and the quality of leadership. Prior to beginning his career in health care, Rick served four years in the United States Navy and was honorably discharged.

Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Rick earned his Master of Science in Management from Lesley University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a major in Labor Relations, from Xavier University.
