Lakeside Medical Center surgeon serves Haitian community abroad and at home
Lakeside Medical Center surgeon Daniel B. Kairys, MD was among the first wave of medical responders after the devastating earthquake in Haiti on January 12.

Daniel B. Kairys, MD, a surgeon at Lakeside Medical Center, was featured on the front page of the January 19th edition of the The Palm Beach Post for his efforts caring for the injured in Port-au-Prince.

Health Care District Board Vice Chair receives local honors and is quoted in Sports Illustrated
Effie C. Grear, EdD, Health Care District Board Vice Chair, was honored by the Lupus Foundation of America, Southeast Florida Chapter as well as the Palm Beach County Caucus of Black Elected Officials for her service and dedication to the community. She also was quoted in Sports Illustrated in a feature article.
