Cindy Yarbrough, Chief Information Officer
Cindy Yarbrough is the Chief Information Officer for the Health Care District of Palm Beach County, a public safety net health care system. Ms. Yarbrough provides leadership for the continued development of an innovative, robust, and secure information technology environment throughout the Health Care District’s diverse programs.
Ms. Yarbrough is responsible for the organization’s IT infrastructure that includes telecommunications, security networking, server administration, systems analysts and Help Desk services. She oversees the Health Care District’s IT Department which supports a nationally-recognized trauma system, a skilled nursing facility, a rural teaching hospital, school-based health clinics, pharmacies, primary care and dental clinics that operate as Federally Qualified Health Centers, and health coverage for uninsured residents not eligible for other state or federal programs.
Ms. Yarbrough joined the Health Care District in 1997 and served in a variety of IT roles, including IT Director, before being promoted to Chief Information Officer in 2018. Prior to joining the Health Care District, Ms. Yarbrough served as an Assistant Vice President of Mortgage Servicing and oversaw data analytics in the banking industry. Ms. Yarbrough holds a Bachelor of Administration in Computer Information Systems from Florida Atlantic University and a Master of Science in Health Informatics from the University of South Florida.
