Visiting Hours

Limited visitation is permitted at this time:

Visiting hours: 9:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.

  • ONE (1) adult visitor allowed to accompany ER patients
  • Patients admitted to a unit may have ONE (1) adult visitor, at a time.
  • Surgical patient may have ONE (1) adult patient visitor accompany them to the hospital on the day of their procedure.
  • Labor and delivery patient may have ONE (1) adult companion, for the duration of labor.
  • ONE (1) adult may remain overnight in the Pediatric Unit.
  • There is NO VISITATION for patients on isolation for COVID-19.
  • Circumstances may allow for specific exceptions to any visitation restrictions. All persons entering under an exception remain subject to appropriate infection control protocols.

 

Lakeside Medical Center welcomes friends and family of patients.

The safety and comfort of our patients is important. Please follow these guidelines:

  • For security, visitors must check in at the front desk. Each visitor gets a paper pass with their photo.

  • The main lobby is open from 7 am to 8 pm

  • The ER lobby is open from 8 pm to 7 am.

  • Children are welcome to visit patients. They must stay with an adult visitor at all times.

  • Please do not sit or rest on the patient's bed.

  • If a doctor is in the patient’s room, it is for treatment. You may stay if you are helping with the patient’s care. Other guests are asked to wait in the lobby.

  • Please do not visit patients if you are sick.

  • All patients need rest to heal. Please be quite in the hospital.

  • Visitors may use the cafeteria or bring food from outside the hospital.

  • Please check with the nurse before bring food for patients. Some patients have special medical diets.

  • We encourage a family member or friend to stay overnight with a patient. (Let the nurse know and the patient’s guest will also get breakfast.)

  • Lakeside Medical Center is a tobacco-free facility.

 

Critical Care Unit

  • No flowers are allowed in the Intensive Care Unit. It is for the health of patients in the unit. 

 

The Birthplace

  • Two visitors and one “mother’s helper” may visit a new mom and her baby.
