In addition to completing the Compliance and HIPAA training below, please also submit a Conflict of Interest Disclosure form.
Compliance
The goals of this education are to familiarize you with the Health Care District’s Compliance Program, refresh your knowledge of compliance laws and regulations, as well as the District’s policies and procedures, and to help you understand your responsibilities under the District’s Compliance Program. The Compliance course takes approximately 30 minutes to complete.
There is an assessment at the end of this training that can only be accessed after you have completed this course. You must score at least 80% to pass.
HIPAA
The goals of this course are to understand the Federal and state laws and regulations related to privacy and security, to understand the District’s HIPAA policies and procedures, to identify ways to safeguard protected health information, and to understand your responsibilities in ensuring HIPAA compliance. This course takes approximately 30 minutes to complete. There is an assessment at the end of this training that can only be accessed after you have completed both the Compliance course and this course. You must score at least 80% to pass.
